Fire Alarm

Monday Morning 4:43am

Right now I'd normally be sleeping. However, due to the fire alarm in our building going off twice this evening/morning I am awake currently sitting on my balcony in joggers, a puffy vest and warm boots to escape the horrific sound of our fire alarm.

Late-night fire alarms really suck -for lack of a better description. Hanging out in the stairwell for 45 mins encountering other neighbors with half-shut eyes, messy hair and weird 'i-got-dressed-at-4am' outfits is not my idea of fun.

Now I'm going back to sleep. The night's silence once again beckons.
